KNT's Day of Dance

Most members, particularly those from the Northwest, will already know of KNT's Day of Dance but here is some useful information for those who don't.

The Day of Dance is a day of wall-to-wall classes in different style of dance which will take place at the Dancehouse Studio in Manchester between 10:00 and 17:00 on 18 August. If you are free that day I strongly recommend the event.  I shall mention it again at tomorrow's company class in Leeds.

Here is the proposed timetable:

• 10:00am - 11.30am - Beg/pre inter jazz & inter/adv jazz
• 11:30am -1:00pm - PBT & beg/pre inter lyrical contemporary
• 1:00pm - 2:00pm - Lunch
• 2:00pm - 3:30pm - Beg/pre inter ballet & inter/adv ballet
• 3:30pm - 5:00pm - Ballet rep/ musical theatre rep. 

The unit cost of each class will be £15 but there will be discounts for multiple bookings. Thus the unit cost will reduce to £13 for those who book two classes, £12 for three and £10 for all four. Note that a minimum of 15 students is needed to justify a class.

The Dancehouse is a few hundred yards form Oxford Road station which is on the Leeds to Liverpool main line. It is literally round the corner from the NCP multistory at Chester Street which offers discounted parking on Saturdays.   There is also some free street parking in the vicinity on Saturday afternoons.   There is a bus stop just outside the studios which is on several bus routes.   St Peter's Square tram stop is a short walk away
