To Karen - With Love from Powerhouse Ballet

Tomorrow our dear friend, Karen Sant, is to be married.  Each and every member of Powerhouse Ballet is delighted.  We wish her and her fiancé. a long and happy marriage, 

Karen has done much for our company  She gave us our first opportunity to perform by including Aria in KNT's 10th anniversary gala at the Dancehouse just over 3 years ago.  As our guest ballet mistress, Karen has given us some unforgettable classes including the time captured in the photo when David Plumpton played for us. As can be seen from the expressions on the dancers' faces, that was a particularly happy day. 

Many of our members attend regularly Karen's pre-intermediate and advanced classes at Space at the Mill   She has provided opportunities for us to perform in KNT's shows.  She has allowed us to experience life as a dancer at her choreographic workshops and days of dance. I think I learned more about the great full-length classical works from those workshops than in a lifetime of theatre-going.
